The BOTAS brand was awarded with the Consumer Superbrands 2015 in the sports footwear category.

The Superbrand title is granted to the best brands on the market. These successful brands are then invited to the Superbrands programme, helping to strengthen and support their popularity through collective campaigns, surveys and publications.

The Superbrands award is based on a profound pre-selection. The Superbrands award cannot be obtained by registering in the Superbrands programme.

For that reason, the organizers nominate relevant brands from the database of all registered commercial trademarks for this purpose made available by the Czech Patent Office (Industrial Property Office). Subsequent filtration by Bisnode, a leading global commercial information provider, results in a list of nominated candidates. The next step is represented by a consumer survey, the major part of the selection process. The list is narrowed down to the most popular and favoured brands found by the nationwide survey organized by GfK Czech. The final say in the Superbrands title award in the season belongs to the professional jury Brand Council consisting of professionals in business, communication, marketing, media and market surveys, who evaluate the selected brands on the basis of predefined criteria including awareness, brand building, openness to innovation or prestige.
